Health, Safety and Quality

Harvest Energy has an excellent Health and Safety record and is committed to identifying and eliminating risk throughout its supply chain.

All storage terminals are COMAH top tier locations and OHSAS 18001and ISO 9001 accredited, guaranteeing the highest quality standard. Similarly, all of Harvest Energy's distribution contractors are ISO 9001 accredited.

Product Quality is paramount and there is a thorough and detailed Quality Manual that controls the blending process. All product quality testing for Harvest Energy is contracted out to accredited fuel testing companies, ie. Inspection Companies with recognised Quality Management Systems accredited to ISO 9001and /or NAMAS.

Harvest Energy's principal logistics provider, Suttons Transport Group, manages our operations with safety as the number one priority. Suttons transports millions of tonnes of hazardous materials globally every year in road tankers and ISO tank containers. For over ten years Suttons has been seen as a leader in the development of health and safety in the transport fuels sector. They have been awarded the prestigious Motor Transport Safety in Operation Award on four occasions in 2001, 2004, 2008 and in 2011.

As part of Suttons' commitment to continuous improvement, the Group is certified to ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007. They are also subject to SQAS (Road Transport Service), SQAS (Cleaning Station) and CDI-mpc assessments.
